Firefighters were called out to The Garden Club Townhomes located in the 300 block of Nicholas Drive in Delran just minutes before 1a.m.
When they arrived they found smoke and flames coming from the complex.
Crews from several different communities were called in to assist Delran firefighters battle the blaze.
4 units were destroyed and the Red Cross is assisting those left homeless.
One person was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
