PHILADELPHIA - January 1, 2011

52 year old Marsha Moore still does not remember her vicious attack.

She was beaten with a pipe as she slept in her home about 9:20 am, October 29th in the 1900 block of South Cecil Street in Southwest Philadelphia.

The assailant cracked her face in 4 places leaving her with more than 100 stitches, 2 broken fingers and a fractured arm. Her eye was knocked more than 3 centimeters back. She awoke in a pool of blood.

"I felt my face and it felt literally separated, because that how they hit me. All of this has been facial reconstruction put back together," said Marsha Moore.

Before leaving for school, Moore's daughter prepared her breakfast and placed it on the bedroom dresser. Moore never had a chance to eat it.

"The food that was in the container was on the dresser, so I never ate it," said Moore.

The assailant or assailants knocked down her back door.

A few pieces of cosmetic jewelry were stolen, but cash and expensive items were left behind. It's believed the attack was personal.

Moore and her husband, Robert, a 12th District Police Chaplain have long been big supporters of the police and military veterans.

A 11,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of Marsha Moore's vicious attacker. Just all the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS.

Moore, who still has to undergo more surgery, is not angry with her attacker, but she has a message for that person on the run.

"Get your life straightened out before someone has to straighten you out. We want to live in peace. We don't want you to rest in peace," said Moore.
