On Monday at approximately 4:00 p.m., Middle Township Police received numerous calls of a motor vehicle crash involving a pick-up truck and a tractor trailer on Route 9 in the area of Bayview Avenue in the Edgewood section of Middle Township.
Patrol officers arrived to find a Ford F-150 operated by Robert M. Green, 49, from Whitesboro, had crossed the center line into the southbound lane of travel crashing into a tractor trailer operated by Treymayne L. Harvey, 31, from Bristol, Pa.
Green was pronounced dead on scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
Traffic was detoured due to Route 9 being closed for approximately three hours.
