Del. restaurant robbed twice in 2 days

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - January 7, 2011

The most recent robbery occurred Thursday about 10:30 p.m. at the Pizza Hut on Veale Road. Troopers say an employee was taking out trash at the rear of the building when he was confronted by three men, one of whom had an automatic handgun.

The men forced the employee back into the restaurant, tied up him and another employee, rifled their pockets, and then stole money from the cash register.

The employees were forced into the freezer. They were able to escape and weren't hurt.

Troopers say on Wednesday evening, a man entered the restaurant, pulled out a semiautomatic handgun and demanded money from the register.
