Several fire companies responded to a report of a house fire shortly before 11:00 a.m. at a home along the 2400 block of Duncan Road in the Dunlinden Acres neighborhood.
A passerby noticed smoke coming from the house and called 9-1-1. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke and flames pouring from windows and doors.
Despite the intensity of the flames, the fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
