The 12-inch main broke in the 1900 block of Linden Street around midnight Wednesday, pouring water onto the street for about a half hour before being turned off.
Linden Street was closed between 19th and 20th streets while crews work to clear the scene.
No word on if the break affected water supply to area residents.
