Mrs. Fixit: Travel with Pillowcases

January 23, 2011

Slip your shoes inside a pillowcase. You'll keep dirt and germs off of your clothes, plus there's no chance of the shoes snagging a delicate top.

Use a pillowcase to protect dress clothes. Snip a small hole in the top of the pillowcase and then simply slip the case over the clothes to keep them smooth a clean in your bag.

A pillowcase can corral all of your hair supplies. Pack up your hairdryer, brush, iron and anything else that you need and keep them all together so you can unload them all right into the bathroom!

If you're sharing a suitcase with a family member, slip each person's clothes into a separate pillowcase and your suitcase will stay organzied and no one will have to pull the suitcase apart looking for their stuff.

Pack an extra pillowcase in your suitcase and use it to collect dirty laundry throughout your trip.

Just a few ideas for travelling with pillowcases! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
