The fire was reported about 4 p.m. Thursday at the Woodlea Apartments. Officials say firefighters found the burn victim on the third floor. She was taken to Christiana Hospital.
The fire was quickly put out and damage was estimated at $500. Other residents were allowed to return to their apartments.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
