Fight over fries leads to Old City shooting

OLD CITY - January 17, 2011

The shooting happened around 3:00 a.m. on 2nd near Callowhill.

According to investigators, two friends were sharing french fries in a car when an argument began.

The fight spilled out of the car and into the street where shots were fired.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The gunman fled in a silver Mercedes going southbound on 2nd Street. He is descrbied as a 43-year-old man, 5'5" and weighing about 250 lbs.

The identities of those involved have not been released.
