Scott Burke, MD, FACC

He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. In addition, Dr. Burke completed the J.W. Marriott Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Georgetown University, Washington DC VA Medical Center, and Washington Hospital Center. He also completed a two-year Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Burke is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. As director of the Arrhythmia Institute of Penn Cardiac Care in Newtown, Dr. Burke has particular interests in the comprehensive management of atrial fibrillation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, defibrillation, and catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias.

He is the Medical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at St. Mary Medical Center and has continued research pursuits in the field of electrophysiology.
