Michael Vick to Appear at Oscar Night® America

This event is on February 27th, 2011 This is VOADV's 12th year hosting Oscar Night® America, the only Oscar Night event in the Philadelphia area that is sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This glamorous gala includes a red carpet entrance, cocktail party, celebrity impersonators, entertainment, live and silent auction, and a big screen showing of the Academy Awards and is quickly becoming one of Philadelphia's premiere events.

Mr. Vick will be honored by Volunteers of America Delaware Valley for his work in the community and, in keeping with the mission of VOADV, utilizing his experience to help others.

Proceeds from this event will benefit VOADV's Home for the Brave which, upon its completion, will be a 30-bed program which will assist this area's homeless veterans by providing a wide array of services.

Oscar Night® America (ONA) is the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' grassroots program that enables charities to host glamorous fund-raising parties. It will kick off its 18th year in 2011.
