Shoplifting suspect hit with stun gun in Del.

CLAYMONT, Del. - January 26, 2011

Thirty-year-old Ebonie Riley of Chester, Pa. has been charged with robbery, assault and other offenses. She is being held on $10,150 secured bail.

Troopers say on Tuesday about 11:30 a.m., Riley was confronted by an employee at the Burlington Coat Factory after she allegedly shoplifted clothes. Authorities say she was taken into custody, but at Troop 1, she became combative and scuffled with troopers. She struck one in the neck.

Troopers say Riley was subdued when a trooper stunned her with a stun gun.
