Police were called just before 2:30 p.m. Friday to the area of 18th Street and Klein Ave. for a possible shooting.
Police say they found a man shot to death inside a car at that location.
The victim, who is a male in his late 50's, was pronounced dead at the scene by personnel from the Berks County Coroner's office.
Investigators say he had several gunshot wounds.
District Attorney John Adams said police are handling this case as a homicide.
