Police responded to the 5500 block of Hillcreek Circle around 1:00 a.m. after getting numerous calls reporting numerous gunshots and a person lying in the street.
Arriving medics pronounced the unidentified 29-year-old male dead shortly after arrival from a gunshot wound to the head.
Police and homicide detectives are continuing their investigation and have not released additional information.
Investigators are also trying to solve two earlier homicides. The first of which happened in the city's Mayfair section. In that case, a man was found shot multiple times inside a car on the Roosevelt Boulevard. The second murder occurred when a man was shot while exiting a Chinese fast food restaurant in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia.
In both cases, police have made no arrests.
