Salon Ziza in Ardmore is donating 50-percent of its proceeds to the American Heart Association if you dye your hair any shade of red this week.
Megan Verderamo took the salon up on its offer both for a good cause and in hopes of brightening up her look.
The salon owner says going red can be whatever you want it to be.
"We are not talking bright red, not a party red. Anything you want that has a little bit of red. It can even be a red hair extension," said Liz Stelmach.
By the way, participants will also receive a free goodie bag filled with professional Loreal products.
The promotion runs through February 18th.
