Bruno Mars due to enter plea in Vegas cocaine case

LAS VEGAS - February 16, 2011

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter is due Wednesday in Clark County District Court on a plea agreement that would get him probation, a $2,000 fine, and requirements to perform 200 hours of community service and complete drug counseling.

If he stays out of trouble for a year, the conviction would be removed from his record.

Mars' real name is Peter Hernandez.

He's not contesting police accounts that he possessed 2.6 grams of cocaine when he was arrested in September in a casino men's room after a performance a Las Vegas nightclub.
