The Delaware County DA's office charged 30-yr.old Terry Terreel Davis with attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and drug crimes today.
Davis is being held on $1 million cash bail.
Officials say Davis took off after a car stop, dragging Officer Kevin Schieler along with him.
Davis's Cadillac slammed into a parked car, pinning the officer between both vehicles.
Officer Schieler remains in the hospital, recovering from surgery.
