Using their talent to good use

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - February 22, 2011

The cowboys were in town for a roping competition and helped save a trapped horse.

The animal got its back legs caught in a drain hole.

Philip Murrah and four buddies happened to be having breakfast at the Rum Boogie Cafe.

They noticed the commotion and came to the horse's aid.

The cowboys managed to slide the animal out of the drain without a scratch.

But in the process, Murrah was covered in horse poo.

Murrah tells a local TV station they were still welcomed back into the cafe.

He says everybody gave them a big hand and they got drinks on the house.
