The body was found around 11:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Christiana Avenue.
Police say the body was in a grassy area just off the road.
There was no immediate word on the identity of the body found or any clues to the person's age, gender or race.
Police are also investigating the discovery an unoccupied vehicle nearby on the Christina River Bridge near the Terminal Ave. Exit on 495. However, there was no immediate word on if the two incidents were related.
