Your sleep not only affects your mental and physical health, it also affects your financial health.
A team at Duke University Medical School has found that sleep-deprived people tend to make riskier money decisions.
In an experiment, 22 sleep-deprived volunteers were asked money questions: once after a night of sleep and then after a sleep-deprive night.
After the sleepless night, they were more sensitive to the positive rewards. But they were much less aware of the negative risks.
So if you have a big financial decision to make, as the saying goes - sleep on it!
