Two men fall from Delaware Park roof

STANTON, Del. - March 7, 2011

The incident occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m. Monday as the two males were working on the roof of a tunnel which leads to the rear casino entrance at Delaware Park.

The roof of the structure gave way and both men fell approximately 20 feet to the ground below.

Both victims were transported from the scene by EMS to the Christiana Hospital in Newark where they were admitted with serious injuries. The injuries, however, do not appear to be life threatening.

The men are employed by Marenalley Construction of New Castle.

This incident remains under investigation at this time.
