Quake and tsunami damage in Japan

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan speaks during a news conference at his official residence in Tokyo Friday, March 25, 2011, two weeks after a catastrophic earthquake and tsunami hit northeastern Japan. "The situation today at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant is still very grave and serious. We must remain vigilant," Kan said. "We are not in a position where we can be optimistic. We must treat every development with the utmost care." (AP Photo/Itsuo Inouye)
