Base officials say a military dog flagged as suspicious a tractor trailer entering the base Friday morning. The highway was shut down and the vehicle cordoned off, but no explosives were found inside. The truck is now undergoing what officials say is a routine follow-up inspection.
Base officials say Route 1 from the base to Route 9 was shut down for more than two hours while the truck was investigated.
