Police: Two stabbed in Wilmington altercation

WILMINGTON - March 17, 2011

At approximately 5:30 p.m., Wilmington police were dispatched to a home in the 2500 block of N. Market Street in reference to a fight.

When officers arrived, they located two male victims from Wilmington, both suffering from stab wounds.

One victim was taken to the Wilmington Hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition. That victim sustained stab wounds to his left hand and arm.

The second victim was transported to the Christiana Hospital where he is listed in critical condition, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest and back.

Preliminary investigation reveals that both males were engaged in some type of physical altercation.
