Sparrow Hospital spokesman John Foren tells The Associated Press that most of the injured from Saturday morning's fire are suffering from smoke inhalation and about half were expected to be admitted to the Lansing hospital.

None of the injuries are life-threatening.

The fire was reported about 7 a.m. at Moo's Bar & Grille along Main Street and about 20 miles southeast of Lansing.

One person in an apartment above the bar escaped, but suffered smoke inhalation.

Several area fire departments battled the blaze and a number of ambulance companies transported the injured.

Both buildings were considered a total loss. No cause has been determined.
