"Songs for Japan" include artists Keith Urban, Lady Gaga

NEW YORK (AP) - March 28, 2011

Each of these artists has a hit single on a new compilation album called "Songs for Japan." Urban's song is "Better Life" and Lady A's is "I Run to You." Both songs have upbeat, positive messages.

Other songs on the album come from Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen and many others, including the very appropriate "Shelter from the Storm" by Bob Dylan.

"Songs for Japan" is available from iTunes for $9.99. Money raised goes to the Japanese Red Cross Society for disaster relief.

Right now, the music is available for download only. But early next month, it'll be available on a two-disc CD.
