Temple-Japan classes have been canceled until at least April 4 as the country grapples with radiation exposure and other difficulties resulting from last month's earthquake and tsunami.
Temple-Japan serves about 3,400 students from 60 countries, including about 325 Americans.
Temple spokesman Hillel Hoffmann said Monday that it's not immediately clear how many might come to Philadelphia.
Hoffmann says about 30 U.S. students took a chartered evacuation flight out of Japan on March 20 after the State Department strongly urged Americans to leave.
He says the rest of the U.S. students either remain in Japan or made their own arrangements to leave.
