Daily Deal site donates to charity

QUEEN VILLAGE - April 8, 2011

"We're looking for the exposure, looking for the new customers to come in and experience what we have here," explains Chef/Owner Lou Campanaro. "It's american food with strongly Italian, Mediterranean influences."

To let more potential customers know about Village Belle, owner Lou Campanaro is offering a deal today on Eversave Philly. The deal is $40 worth of food and drink for $20. Customers who buy the deal have six months to use it.

Like Groupon and Living Social, Eversave Philly offers customers offers customers daily discount deals for 50% to 70% off at restaurants, salons and more.

But many Eversave deals also come with an added bonus. They also benefit charities.

Two dollars from every Village Belle deal bought over the next three days will be donated to Philabundance -- a local hunger relief charity.

Eversave President and CEO Jere Doyle, who's a Radnor native, calls that a win-win.

"People like to give back and they particularly like to give back locally," Doyle says. "That's very important to them. And we feel good about that as well. Our team feels good about it, the clients, the merchantsthat are involved, feel very good about it and consumers feel good about it. "

Past Eversave deals have benefitted the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the American Cancer Society and local schools.
