The accident happened at 5:46 a.m. on Swamp Road (Route 313) near Curley Hill Road.
The victim was later identified as Fransico Guerra, 46, from Quakertown. Police were told that he has a wife and child in Guatemala.
According to investigators, Guerra was dropped off on Swamp Road by a bus and walking to Bromm's Nursery where he worked when he crossed the road and was struck.
The driver of the striking vehicle stopped and called 911.
Guerra was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating.
No charges have been filed against the driver.
