Amber Price, 31, was arrested Tuesday at her home on Washington Street in Cape May in the death of Erving Harper.
Police say she is the girlfriend of 34-year-old Jason Moore, who was previously arrested and charged with murder.
Price has been charged with desecrating human remains, hindering prosecution and other charges.
She was sent to Cumberland County Jail on $200,000 bail.
Moore's brother, 30-year-old Lewis, is also jailed on charges he desecrated human remains and conspiracy.
Harper's remains were discovered in a wooded area off Weatherby Rd. in Maurice River Township on March 28, 2011. He had been missing since January 20, 2011.
