The multi-car accident involving a tractor-trailer occurred on I-76 eastbound, just west of exit 1B shortly after noon.
As a result of the accident, the tractor had its saddle tank ripped off, causing a large fuel spill on the highway.
All eastbound lanes on I-76 were shutdown along with all I-295 lanes leading to I-76 while crews worked to clear and clean the scene. The highways have since reopened.
There are no reported injuries.
