"I can't wait to swim in it and dive in it," Joshua Beck said.
"It's a real big surprise, but we're going to have a lot of fun with it, we're happy about that," Dakota Beck said.
Dorothy Beck and her husband Chuck had two children and then adopted 10, many of them have special needs. They range in age from 20 months to 20 years.
The pool will be more than a fun place to cool off.
"Several of our children...they have spinal cord injuries, just the therapy of it, the water therapy will be very good," Dorothy said.
Not only is the pool a blessing, it is a gift from local retailer The Pool Store and manufacturer Latham International, which has donated seven pools in recent years.
"We started working with local dealers around the country that we sell our product to, to identify charitable causes that could use water therapy," Peter Moran of Latham International said.
The children can hardly believe their eyes as water filled the pool. Mostly, they can hardly wait to take a dip.
"I'll have a lot of fun swimming in it and I would love to go swimming," Jesse Beck said.
On a dreary Tuesday, the Beck children could only watch as the pool took shape, but before long, the hot weather will be here and they'll be able to enjoy the very cool addition to their backyard.
