At around 9:45 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the intersection of Broad Street and Montgomery Avenue in front of Temple University for the report of a pedestrian struck.
Once there, police found a 19-year-old female was hit by a vehicle.
Medics soon arrived to the scene and transported the victim to Hahnemann Hospital in critical condition.
Temple University spokesperson Ray Betzner tells Action News the victim is a Temple student and the vehicle remained at the scene.
Philadelphia police are investigating.
