Today, there are just 25 tracks in seven states, with 13 of them in Florida, once considered the hub of dog racing.
A spokesman for Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas says nationally, money bet on greyhound races dropped from $3.5 billion to $1.1 billion between 1991 and 2007.
