The crash occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on Highland Avenue near Second Street in the city of Chester.
Police say a Chevy Impala, speeding eastbound on Highland Avenue, hit a Toyota Camry going north on Second Street.
The Impala struck the driver's side of the Camry, killing the Toyota driver.
The driver of the Impala was taken into custody.
Chester police are investigating.
