Don't you just hate it when you've lost an earring or misplaced a glove.. I have some ideas to put those orphaned items back to work.

If you've lost a mitten or a sock and its mate is all alone, reuse it as an eyeglass or sunglass holder in your bag or car. The soft material will protect the glasses from scuffs and you'll be able to find them at a quick glance.

I also like this tip for my safety glasses in the toolbox. They're always clean and scuff free when I need them.

Lose an earring? No problem. Use all of those mismatched pieces to dress up your bulletin board. They work great and look pretty doing it!

A lonely swat band makes a great cozy to protect your hand from hot or cold drinks.

Snag your stockings? Cut the undamaged leg and fill it with some dryer sheets. Stash the sachet in a drawer or closet for instant freshness.

You can also use those spent stockings for dusting odd surfaces like candles and carved pieces. The stockings conform to the shape and remove dust with ease!

Just some easy ideas for putting the mismatched accessories back to work! I'm Mrs Fixit and it's just that simple!
