Police: Bad GPS directions led to Pa. crash

DUNMORE, Pa. - April 27, 2011

Dunmore police say a woman went the wrong way on Route 435 on Monday evening then struck another motorist.

Investigators say the woman reported that she was following the instructions of her GPS unit when she took a wrong turn to end up going north in the southbound lanes.

The Times-Tribune of Scranton reports the woman had to pass a "Do Not Enter" but didn't notice her mistake.

The woman was not injured in the crash but the other driver sustained minor injuries.
