Police: Possible robbery may have led to shooting

A man is critical after being shot in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section.

The shooting took place shortly before 9:00 p.m. at 16th Street and West Grange Avenue.

Police say a 30-year-old man was shot in the chest and stomach.

Medics rushed the man to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment.

Police are looking into the possibility that a robbery prompted the shooting.

There is no description on a suspect at this time.
