Teen critical after NJ playground shooting

A playground turned into a battleground in Gloucester City overnight, leaving a teenager critically wounded.

Police in Camden County, New Jersey were called to the playground in the 300 block of Middlesex Street to break up a fight around midnight.

About 45 minutes later they were called back because an 18-year old man had been shot in the chest.

Neighbors say the playground is a popular place for teens to hang out... and often fight.

"On this street all the time, there's at least 10 to 15 fights a week at least," said Daniel Tamarchio, who lives near the playground.

The shooting victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
