Rescue Ink helps two abused pit bulls

LANGHORNE, Pa. - May 4, 2011

The men of Rescue Ink came to a Bucks County Animal Center to help two abused pit bulls.

The dogs were discovered with severe head injuries in New Jersey last week.

The pit bulls have undergone successful surgeries at an animal center in Langhorne.

Now, they'll rehab at the Rescue Ink sanctuary in upstate New York.

The men say they won't rest until the person or people who abused the animals are caught.

"People who abuse animals are more likely to do something to humans so these people need to be punished and brought to justice immediately," Joe Panz of Rescue Ink said.

Trenton Animal Control and the New Jersey SPCA are handling the investigation.
