Officers are looking for a gang of older women.
Police say the not so lady-like ladies are using credit cards and checks from stolen purses.
Authorities say the women have ripped off as much as a-half million dollars from area banks and stores.
One bank alone is out 200-grand.
Investigators say the women often grab purses from shopping carts or strollers.
The Detroit News reports police say people usually don't suspect the older women because of their age.
