Investigators say the driver and another man were attempting to repossess a sport utility vehicle Friday morning in the city's Hunting Park neighborhood.
Authorities say a man came out of a home and began yelling at the drivers, who tried to calm the man down. The man pulled out a gun during the ensuing scuffle and fired, wounding one of the drivers in the hand and shoulder.
The driver was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Police are searching for the shooter.
