It happened Friday about 10:05 a.m. in Arundel Parkland. Police say the man, who works for a turf management company, was mowing grass when the mower slid down an embankment and overturned in a creek bed, trapping him.
The man's son unsuccessfully tried to pull the mower off his father. Several passers-by saw what happened and were able to lift the mower and free the man.
The victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Christiana Hospital.
