The attack happened overnight at Club Vault, located along the 400 block of North 2nd Street.
Police say an argument between two men took a violent turn when one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other ten times.
The 34-year-old victim was taken to Thomas Jefferson university Hospital where he remains in "extremely" critical condition.
Police are now reviewing security footage and interviewing witnesses in the effort to catch the person responsible.
