A car overturned after slamming into some trees along the Atlantic City Expressway in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County.
New Jersey State Police and medics rushed to the scene -- the eastbound lanes of the expressway near mile marker 19.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver's condition has not been disclosed.
State Police closed down two lanes of the expressway for more than two hours while they investigated the crash.
