Burrell School District assistant superintendent Michael Loughead says the teacher and students are from Huston Middle School in Lower Burrell. The crash happened Wednesday morning at Rock Airport in West Deer Township, about 20 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

Loughead isn't releasing the names of those hurt, but says the teacher suffered only minor injuries. The students were being taken to emergency rooms, one by helicopter and the other by ambulance.

West Deer Police Chief John Lape says the injured included the 57-year-old pilot, a 42-year-old man and two 13-year-old boys. He didn't release their names.
