Philadelphia rallies to tie Los Angeles

CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - May 11, 2011

Landon Donovan scored in the 24th minute for league-leading Los Angeles (4-2-5). Donovan has scored the Galaxy's last five goals, dating to a 3-0 victory over Portland on April 23.

A PPL Park-record crowd of 19,178 fans attended the game, though the Galaxy played without midfielder David Beckham. The English star stayed home to rest.

Philadelphia (4-2-2) is 3-0-2 at home this season.

The Union avoided being swept by Los Angeles for the second consecutive season. Philadelphia, which has only six goals in eight games this season, is 0-3-1 in two seasons against the Galaxy.
