Coatesville High School hosted what has become a parade of one ups-man-ship and, some wild creativity.
The red carpet atmosphere is part a prom tradition dating back more than 30 years.
The "Promenade," as many students affectionately call it, is something that they anticipate all year.
This year's theme, "The Final Wave", had an ocean flavor with all the favorites of the shore including a boardwalk and concession stands.
