Officers were dispatched to the TD Bank at 1999 Lenola Road around 11:10 a.m. on Sunday after receiving a panic alarm from the bank.
They were told that a man entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding loose bills.
After he was given the cash, the man fled the bank on foot - taking the demand note with him.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 40's wearing a red Phillies cap and a black hooded sweatshirt. Police say the suspect also has a star-shaped tattoo on his left cheek.
