Searching for hit and run driver in Bucks

LEVITTOWN, Pa. - May 23, 2011

"I'm yelling, screaming," an emotional Jessica Tribuiani told Action News as she relived the ordeal on Monday. "I'm telling someone to call 911."

The 22-year-old was walking with two friends along Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown early Saturday when a car swerved to the right, plowed into the trio and took off.

When she came to, Jessica, who's been taking classes to become a medical assistant, immediately began assessing her badly injured friends: an unidentified minor and 22-year-old Kristin Jelleyman, who suffered a serious head injury.

"I had somebody hold pressure on her head," said Jessica. "And I crawled over to my other friend and she was all scraped up on her side."

Still nursing her own injuries, but out the hospital, Jessica is particularly worried about her friend Kristin.

"She's got six bruises on her brain and she's in a coma," said Jessica.

Police are searching for an older model four-door sedan with engine trouble and possible damage to the hood and windshield. Jessica thinks the car was targeting them.

"I heard a car accelerate, that's what i actually heard," she said. "I do think this was intentional."

Jessica says her tire was slashed that night and that she believes the three girls were being followed that day. She confirms one of the other victims has been having trouble with an ex-boyfriend.

Police will only say the investigation is continuing.

"Someone out there somewhere knows," said Jessica's father.

Michael Tribuiani hopes a $1,000 reward will help to find the hit and run driver.

"There is somebody, their friend, their relative has damage to an older white sedan with a loud muffler," he said.

Police have questioned a number of people, but have no new information to report so far. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bristol Township Police Department Tip Line at (215) 788-8289.
